Deep Snow

I have skied some of the deepest powder of my life the past six days.  I have also shoveled said snow, but that’s a different story.  With reported storm totals as high as 142 inches (Kirkwood), it’s been a week to remember.

Snow of this magnitude deserved more action photos than I took (which was zero), so it was fortuitous that we went backcountry skiing with a filmmaker friend yesterday.  Anthony put together a fun edit that says much more than I can about how fantastic the powder skiing has been this week.

The good news is that there’s more on the way this weekend, and the super cold temps this week (8 degrees this morning) will ensure light and dry snow conditions for those that can get out.
