Obviously skiing in the 60’s was way groovier than it is nowadays. Or so I gather from this gem of a movie trailer circa 1965 that a friend sent me. Set at Heavenly (or Heavenly Valley, as it used to call itself) it clearly illustrates that working at a ski resort has always had some cache. Along with cheesy entendres, a few fistfights and an awful lot of hip wiggling.
There’s actually a few shots of Heavenly & Lake Tahoe starting around the 5.20 of this opening segment.
