The so-called blizzard has arrived, albeit most fashionably late. Today’s weather on South Shore was more akin to a tropical rainstorm, as torrential water pummeled the house, leaving the roads a slushy mess and forcing me to keep the wipers on ‘hyper speed’.
Happily (for us snow-lovers) the temperature dropped, and all of a sudden the ground is now white. Hopefully the off-again on-again wind gusts won’t blow too much of it away.
And since we’re housebound tonight, I’ll be trying a gnocchi recipe from my already-much-used Silver Spoon cookbook.
