I had forgotten that I had donated to the 1-Second Film until I received an email today. This fundraising film (more on it here) benefits the Global Fund for Women, so the added benefits of a producer credit on IMDB was sort of superfluous.
Seeing that you can become a producer (like me) for a mere dollar, I can’t see any reason why you shouldn’t contribute. It’s for a good cause, and is a totally different – dare I say fun – way of fundraising.
